kadiamWarangal: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Kadiam Srihari alleged that the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was acting in a 'silly manner' in dealing with separate Telangana agitation. In a bid to impress the party high command, the CM was using police force to contain the agitation. The police suppression against the Telangana activists surpassed the atrocities committed by 'Razakars' and British rulers', he said. 'Inadvertently, the acts of Kiran Kumar Reddy are indirectly leading towards the doom of the Congress Party in Telangana', Srihari opined while addressing a press conference at his residence here on Saturday. The Congress leaders and the Chief Minister lost the faith among the people. The party leaders like K Jana Reddy and others were being treated as betrayers and the people would never forgive them. 'They failed to obtain permission for the 'Chalo Assembly' and even failed to condemn the police atrocities on Telangana activists'. He claimed that the Chalo Assembly agitation was a grand success with unexpected response and thanked all those supported the programme. Srihari has called upon the public not to allow the Congress leaders to move in the villages henceforth. Hitting at the TDP, the TRS leader said people of Telangana do not believe in the claims of TDP on the separate Telangana issue even though they have taken part in the agitation and were arrested by the police. As long as the party chief N Chandrababu Naidu makes a clear statement affirming that he is in favour of separate Telangana, none in the region would believe the party.. The TDP leaders should insist to move a resolution in the assembly on Telangana to prove their commitment. The people in the region were fully aware TDP leader's political dramas and hence would not trust them. The TRS leader called upon the people in the region to extend support to Telangana Bandh called on Saturday. The party leaders K Rajaiah Yadav and A Chandulal were present.
