Warangal: Directing the agriculture officers to report on the crop loss due to recent incessant rains within 10-days, District Collector G Kishan asked the officials to send the pictures of farmer, pahani copy along with a video for possible compensation.
He was reviewing agriculture scenario with officials at Collectorate in Hanamkonda on Monday. According to the officials, crop loss was estimated in 14,578 hectares in 6 mandals in the district with an estimated 26,337 farmers affected. Rs 604 crore crop loans were given this season for farmers.

The fertilizer stock is 12,132 tons of Urea, 7,916 DAP, 9,856 tons complex fertilizer, 1,404 tons of MOP in the district. He directed the officials to send daily stock of fertilizers to the media so that farmers would get benefitted. NDM official visits Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh senior IAS officer and national disaster management (NDM) commissioner L Venkateshwarlu visited the district as part of study on the steps taken to minimize the effects in the aftermath the incessant rains that followed floods.
