Warangal: The leaders of Students Federation of India (SFI) called upon the student community to fight against negligent attitude of the State and Central governments towards education sector.

“Governments have been neglecting the schools and colleges run under government sector while Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Centre was trying to saffronise the education,” complained SFI former state president B Venkat.

He gave a call to students to strongly oppose all such efforts and fight for scientific and quality education for all while addressing a large gathering of students at the first Telangana state convention held at Kakatiya University campus in Hanamkonda on Friday. He mainly wanted the members of SFI to be proactive and strive for democratisation of education.

Venkat demanded that the TRS government should issue job notifications immediately for filling up two lakh jobs and the party should keep its promise made during the elections.
