Nineteenth convocation of post graduate diploma in management of Vignana Jyothi, Institute of Management, Hyderabad, was held in the college premises Bachupally on Monday.
Addressing the graduating students the Geeta Gouri, Member of Competition Commission of India (CCI), gave the glimpses of the changing new world, from the perspective of a market regulator. She advised the students to stay always in a job which is which is challenging and where bosses respect the work and dignity. Stressing the importance of professional approach she emphasised that only meritocracy is required and mediocrity has no place in a market economy.
Dr.D. Ramanaidu, President, Vignana Jyothi, stressed the importance of quality education for imparting the ethical values. He exhorted the students to face the challenges of competition through commitment to ethics, social responsibility and upgrading skills continuously.
Around 124 students were conferred the post graduate diploma in management by the chief guest.
Meritorious graduates were awarded medals and book prizes.
