Hyderabad: Cykul Sports in association with Intuit Circles conducted the Hyderabad edition of HOOK Start-UP Shoot-Up – aBox-Cricket Tournament from August 2 to4 in SportsVille, Hi-Tec City, Hyderabad. The Tournament was a huge success with over 500 start-up professionals vying for top honours in box-cricket.
Tillpos Technologies won by 9 runs over Green Gold Animation. Sai Kolluru was awarded the Best Batsman whereas the award for the Best Bowler went to Vamshi Mandla.
The event provided a platform to play, interact and network with the start-up community of Hyderabad. While the Hyderabad edition took place over the week-end of August 2 to 4, the Bengaluru edition is scheduled for early September.
The highlight of the tournament is Chiefs-on-Strike match where 16 CEOs from the tech corridors of the city competed over a box-cricket match, designed to mark the beginning of the tournament and to underline the industry trend of multinational companies championing start-ups and entrepreneurship as a way of fostering the innovation culture.
HOOK is an innovative sports event conducted for start-ups and fast emerging SMEs, as a sport platform where entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and other eco system partners come together to network& interact and share best practices.
