Instagram is expanding the "Guides" to all users after testing them with the creators earlier this year. Instagram guides are essentially curated lists of your favourite products, places, and posts. Instagram has also enabled keyword searching in select countries.

Instagram launched Guides earlier this year in May with a focus on wellness tips. The guides are now available on Instagram, and everyone can start creating them. You can create one by going to your profile, tapping the "+" icon and selecting "Guide". Here, choose the Guide you want to create, which can be places, products or publications. Instagram allows you to add places that you have geotagged on your profile. You can search for popular brand products on Instagram that can also be added to the Instagram Store.

Guides have a dedicated section on their Instagram profile. You can also share them in stories and direct messages.

Instagram users in the UK, US, Ireland and Canada, will now be able to search for content using keywords. Currently, Instagram search only works with hashtags or accounts, which becomes quite difficult in most cases. The new update can help you find things on Instagram more efficiently. Posts that do not have hashtags but contain search words will now appear in the results section.

Instagram explained to The Verge that it would consider "content type, captions when it was posted" as factors in showing the most relevant posts. At launch, Instagram will display grid posts for keyword search. Instagram also said it uses machine learning to find and display the "highest quality content" for users. But we all know that it is better not to trust Instagram recommendations.
