Indeed, life after Covid-19 virus will not the same like before. This pandemic virus has made the whole world to go on lockdown. From theatres to malls, everything is closed and the rapid increase in the positive cases is making the Governments continue the quarantine phase.
Even after the lockdown, the lives will not become normal. As we need to go on with masks and maintain social distance when we step out. Be it the aeroplanes or the city busses, the social distance will be must making people stay away from each other.
Coming to the software employees, as of now all of them are ordered to work from home. Tech giants like Apple and Google have advised its employees to work from home and continue it till the end of 2020.
Now, the latest news is, the social media giant Twitter has come up with a new idea. According to sources, the CEO of the Twitter company Jack Dorsey has mailed all the employees and stated their employees from home permanently. This news is announced by the company through an official statement. So, now be it a pandemic or not, all the employees will be working from home permanently.
According to the statement released by Jennifer Christie, Vice President of Twitter company, "We were uniquely positioned to respond quickly and allow folks to work from home given our emphasis on decentralization and supporting a distributed workforce capable of working from anywhere. The past few months have proven we can make that work. So if our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen. If not, our offices will be their warm and welcoming selves, with some additional precautions, when we feel it's safe to return.
This company also stated that opening offices will be the company's decision and it will completely employee's decision to come back to the office or not. Anyway, the offices will be shut down till September, 2020 and then the decision of opening them will be based on the situation.
