Two-day FDP on 5G Technology from Feb 8

Hyderabad: The Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering (EECE) at GITAM School of Technology announced the upcoming Faculty Development Program (FDP) on ‘Advances in 5G Technology and Beyond’. The two-day event will take place on February 8-9, 2024 at the GITAM Hyderabad campus.

The FDP aims to introduce participants to the latest developments in 5G technology and research areas in advanced communication technology. Led by Prof. Madhavi, HoD of EECE, the program will provide opportunities for faculty members, Ph.D. research scholars, and PG students to enhance their research abilities in the field of advanced 5G communication technology.

Participants will have the opportunity to apply 5G/6G technology in their research areas and gain a deeper understanding of the road-map for beyond 5G/6G. The FDP is open to eligible participants with no registration fee, but registration forms must be submitted by February 7. Only 50 participants will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis, with accommodation available at GITAM Hostels for those in need on a prior request basis.
