According to The Wall Street Journal report, Linda Yaccarino, who was associated with the head of publicity for NBC Universal, is speculated to be the frontrunner for the role. According to her LinkedIn profile, Linda Yaccarino, rumoured to be a frontrunner for Twitter's next chief executive, has been an executive at NBC Universal since 2011. She currently serves as the President of Global Advertising and Partnerships. She graduated from Penn State University, where she studied liberal arts and telecommunications. Before her current position at NBC Universal, Yaccarino headed the cable entertainment and digital advertising sales division. Her professional experience includes 19 years at Turner, where she held multiple executive positions.
It has been said that Linda held the position of COO and Executive Vice President of Turner Entertainment Ad Sales at Turner Broadcasting System before she joined NBC Universal. The Wall Street Journal report indicated that Yaccarino had endorsed better ways to check the effectiveness of advertising in the industry. As per the Business Insider report, Linda Yaccarino has shared with her friends her interest in becoming CEO of Twitter. She has expressed her support for Elon Musk and encouraged the need to give him enough time to revive the company.
According to Business Insider's report, it was said that Ella Irwin was also mentioned as a possible candidate for the Twitter CEO position. Currently, Irwin leads the trust and safety division at Twitter, and she is known to establish a good relationship with Elon Musk since her promotion.
