There is no doubt that PUBG Mobile is an insanely popular game in India. Along with PUBG low-end smartphones are also popular in India. Low budget phone buyers also may want to play PUBG Mobile on their devices, and they may find it difficult. But now the owners of low-end smartphones will also be able to enjoy the game as Tencent Corporation has launched PUBG Mobile Lite in India.

This got launched almost after a month of the launch of PUBG Lite beta version for low-end PCs. Earlier PUBG Mobile Lite was first introduced on Google Play Store of Philippines, and now it has made a place in the country.

PUBG Mobile Lite Download Package and Game Details

The users can download the better version of the actual PUBG Mobile game on their device from the Google Play Store. According to Tencent, similar to the original game of PUBG Mobile, the PUBG Mobile Lite has also been made on Unreal Engine 4. But it has been adjusted to run on smartphones with RAM of less than 2GB. One more difference between the full-fledged game and this new version is in the size of the map. The actual map in PUBG Mobile has 100 players in it whereas the PUBG Mobile Lite comes with a smaller map for 60 players.

The Indian launch of PUBG Mobile Lite in India happened at the right time, as Tencent is also pushing a new update on the same day. This update brings a new "RPG-7" weapon and a new vehicle "Buggy" along with three new locations on the game. The number of players in the classic mode is increased to 60 when compared to the previous limit of 40.

PUBG Mobile Lite Features

About the launch of PUBG Mobile Lite, the company said in its statement, "With an installation pack of just 400 MB and built for devices having less than 2GB of RAM; the Lite version is set to run smoothly for all players." The firm further added, "Keeping in mind that more than half of the smartphone users in India use an entry-level smartphone, the specifications that the Lite version of the game is designed to accommodate that. New players joining in will be eligible for various rewards, in the form of new gears and vehicles."

While downloading the game, please remember however Tencent marks the size of the game at 400MB, the total downloadable size of the game comes out to be around 491MB. When it comes to the features in the game, PUBG Mobile Lite will offer a new Winner Pass instead of Royale Pass, bullet trail adjustment, enhanced aim assist, and prolonged time to kill. Other features will include the ability to heal yourself while moving, map quality optimisation, location display for shooter within mini map's range.

The players on PUBG Mobile gets six servers whereas, PUBG Mobile Lite will get the option of choosing from two servers, which would be Asia and South America. The game modes are also limited to two, classic and arcade, and each of them will have only one map.
