9 of family test positive for coronavirus in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Of the total 42 positive cases reported in Telangana on Tuesday, nine people from the same family have tested positive for coronavirus
Hyderabad: Of the total 42 positive cases reported in Telangana on Tuesday, nine people from the same family have tested positive for coronavirus. It is learned that the nine persons are residing in various places in the Hyderabad city and have contracted the virus from a family member who visited all their family members.
The patient is learned to have not ignored the social distancing nor wore a mask when he visited his family members before getting admitted to the hospital from pneumonia. The doctors conducted COVID-19 tests on him which turned positive.
The health officials were alerted who conducted tests on the persons who the patient visited and nine of them tested positive. Three from Shankar Nagar, three from Sarojini Nagar, two from the housing board colony tested positive for coronavirus.
All the patients were shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment and the areas were sanitized.
