9-year-old sexually assaulted in Telangana's Gadwal
A nine-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Maldakal mandal of Jogulamba-Gadwal district here on Saturday.
A nine-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Maldakal mandal of Jogulamba-Gadwal district here on Saturday. The incident came to light on Sunday when the girl developed stomach pain and informed her mother who lodged a complaint with the police.
Getting into details, the accused identified as Naresh (25) took the girl to an agricultural field and sexually assaulted her. He then dropped her home and fled away. Meanwhile, the girl developed stomach ache in the night and informed her grandmother who enquired about the incident.
On Sunday, the victim's parents approached the police who registered a case and are looking out for the accused. SI Krishna Obul Reddy said that they have registered a case under Nirbhaya and POCSO act against Naresh.
