Speaking on the occasion, ABVP State executive member Goda Satyanarayana alleged that the situation of the university is becoming worse day-by-day. Even after six years of the formation of separate Telangana State, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) government had not appointed a regular Vice-Chancellor to the university till date, due to which the development in the university is lagging, he pointed out.
The TRS government do not have proper knowledge on the education system because of which it is trying to dissolve the education sector from primary to postgraduate level and is playing with students' lives students, he criticised. He demanded filling up of teaching and non-teaching posts, which are lying vacant for the past several years and to provide mess facility to the students without mess charges.
The ABVP leader also demanded that the government must reduce degree examination fees along with releasing the academic calendar and to probe an inquiry on the irregularities that took place in evaluation of degree examination papers. Otherwise they will intensify the agitation to teach the TRS government a fitting lesson, Satyanarayana warned.
ABVP district convener Kiran and leaders Mahesh, Sagar, Anvesh, Srikanth, Sravanthi, Abhilash, Ajay, Naveen, Srinivas, Prabhas and Sumanth were present along with others.
