ACB conducts raids at office of Arogyasri coordinator in Hyderabad
The officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau are carrying out searches at the office of Arogyasri coordinator at the Rangareddy after he was arrested on the charges of corruption.
The officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau are carrying out searches at the office of Arogyasri coordinator at the Rangareddy after he was arrested on the charges of corruption.
The coordinator has been caught by the officials while he was accepting a bribe of Rs 25,000 for doing an official favour. The ACB officials also conducting the searches simultaneously at the coordinator's residence. Further details are awaited.
On June 8, the ACB officials found the involvement of a Revenue Inspector, a Police Sub-Inspector and a tehsildar in the bribery case. The ACB team raided the residence of Shaikpet tahsildar Sujatha and found Rs 30 lakh along with gold and other valuables.
The revenue inspector identified as Kandala Nagarjuna Reddy was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe from a person referred to him by the Tahsildar, while a sub-inspector of Banjara Hills A Ravinder was arrested when he demanded and accepted a bribe from the same person for settling cases booked against him.
