Hyderabad: The top brass of police department visited the iconic Charminar on Monday and took stock of the situation.
Home Minister Md Mahmood Ali also visited the site and enquired about the situation. DGP Mahender Reddy inspected the arrangements of law and order in Charminar and instructed all the police personnel to go tough on those, who are seen to be violating the rules.
Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar said that Janata Curfew was successful with the active cooperation of public.
He urged that everyone should stay at home and should not come out of their houses without any valid reason till the lockdown continues.
"It's very important that we break the chain of Covid-19; else there will be serious problems in our country," he added.
