Mancherial: Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjeev said weekly off s will be given to the police according to a plan on Wednesday. Addressing a meeting with Armed and police officers at police head quarters in Ramagundam.
On orders of Ramagundam Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana he conducted a meeting on the occasion ADCP said that weekly off would be of great use to the police personnel who are dealing with the stress of work and the stress of work. According to out DGP Mahender Reddy, this weekly off system was introduced in order to forget the six days of hardship and enjoy a day of relaxation with the family.
He instructed the staff and officials who utilize the weekly off should not leave the district headquarter without informing their officer. Also said that with co-operation of staff every body should plan and implement this system. As a part of friendly policing the he asked the police personnel to increase the respect for police department among the people.
The police have expressed their happiness over the implementation of the weekend holiday. Many people feel that they have a day off a week.
