Additional 141 Basti Dawakhanas in GHMC limits: Health Minister
Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Friday said that the government would be starting 141 new Basti Dawakhanas in the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Friday said that the government would be starting 141 new Basti Dawakhanas in the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
The minster was replying to a question raised by TRS member KP Vivekanand during the Question Hour in the Assembly. He said that the government so far set up 106 Basti Dawakhanas in the city.
The government, after overseeing the functioning of the primary health centres in New Delhi, decided to implement in the city and it has been serving the needs of the people, he said.

The minister said that so far 7.1 lakh outpatients have been registered in the Basti Dawakhanas.
