TS BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar demands the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to respond on the issue of repeated attack on the Hindu temples, destruction of idols

Hyderabad: Telangana State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar demanded Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to respond on the issue of repeated attack on the Hindu temples, destruction of idols.

Addressing the media on Monday, he lashed at the Andhra Pradesh State government for being a mute spectator to the repeated attack on the Hindu temples in that State.

He said that the BJP Andhra Pradesh State Chief Somu Veerraju has already led an agitation, besides, other organisation against the backdrop of the recent incidents as well as those attacks on the Hindu temples on earlier occasions.

Mounting an all-out attack on the ruling party government in Andhra Pradesh, he said, changing of the governing body in Simhachalam temple, the incident of at Antarvedi to Ramatheertham exposes that anti-Hindu party is ruling in that State.

Calling destruction of idols in the temples a madness, Sanjay Kumar said, BJP is not against any religion. But, cautioned the ruling YSRCP and Chief Minister, YS Jagan, that they have to pay a heavy price if they test the patience of Hindus and treat it as a weakness. "If the BJP activists and Hindus holding saffron flags and take to streets raising slogans of Jai Sriram, Bharatmatha Ki Jai, they the YSRCP has to pack its bags and go where it belongs to," he warned.

He appealed to people of Andhra Pradesh to give their support to BJP in that State. In Telangana, Hindus in Dubbaka and GHMC elections have become a vote bank to teach a lesson to Telangana Chief Minister for playing minority appeasement politics.

Similarly, he appealed to Hindus in Andhra Pradesh to turn into vote hanks. Particularly, Hindus in Tirupati, where elections are going to be held should turn themselves into a vote bank against the ruling YSRCP.

He asked Hindus of Tirupati to think whether they wanted to vote for a party which raised the slogan of "Rendu Kondala Wada Govinda or a party which is going to come before them with a slogan of Yedukondala Wada Venkata Ramana Govinda?"

"Whether people of Triupati should vote for a party that comes before them with a Bible in hand or a party that comes with Bhagawad Geeta?

He said that people of Tirupati and Andhra Pradesh were blessed with blessing of Lord Balaji. Even people from across the world come to pay a visit to the deity of Tirumala and take his blessings.

But, unfortunately, the party which has insulted the Tirumala is ruling in Andhra Pradesh. And, I ask the people of Andhra Pradesh to teach a lesson to those practicing false secularism and open their eyes. The TS BJP chief termed the soon-to-be coming elections in Tirupati a war between Dharma and Adharma and asked them to make Dharma wing and defeat those who are cheating Hindu Dharma. He asked Hindus of Tirupati to be united and not to fall prey to the designs of the unjust forces try to divide them in the name of castes and the other issues. The BJP cadre in AP has already launched a war to teach a lesson to the unjust. Both the CMs of TS and AP are trying to adopt shortcuts to take on BJP, he added.
