Bhadrachalam: VIPs, commoners pour in for blessings of Lord Rama
Being a holiday, Lord Rama Temple witnessed heavy rush on Sunday as devotees, including VIPs, started pouring in from different places of the Sate since morning hours.
Bhadrachalam: Being a holiday, Lord Rama Temple witnessed heavy rush on Sunday as devotees, including VIPs, started pouring in from different places of the Sate since morning hours.
BJP MP Rajya Sabha CM Ramesh along with family members visited Lord Rama temple. Film director K Raghavendher Rao arrived during early hours to offer prayers. They were welcomed by the temple officers. They visited the main temple and performed special pujas to the presiding deities. They also visited Goddess Laxmi Ammavaru, Lord Anjaneya Swamy temples located on the temple premises.
District Collector MV Reddy also visited Lord Rama temple. He was welcomed by the temple Executive Officer G Narasimhlu and Assistant Executive Officer Sranvan Kumar. The temple priest gave their blessings to the visiting VIPs and presented prasadam and temple mementos.
Meanwhile, priests conducted celestial wedding programme in the Beda mandapam. A large number of couple of devotees attended the programme. As it was Sunday, the temple priests conducted special abhishekam to the main idols in the temple. Special pujas of Suvarna Pushpa, Kunkuma archana were conducted by the priests. Seeing the heavy rush, The temple officials arranged special queues for hassle-free darshan for the devotees.
