Sangareddy: Swamy Vivekananda Yuvajana Sangham president Nagasani Naresh observed here on Tuesday that Jammu and Kashmir would be placed on development path following the Centre's decision to scrap the Article 370.

Members of the Sangham gathered at Gandhi statue in the town hailing the Centre's decision which, they felt, would help realise the dream of Bharatiya Jana Sangh leader Dr Shyamprasad Mukherjee for 'Akhand Bharat.' They praised the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

The members expressed ire over the 'mistakes' committed by former Primier Jawaharlal Nehru who, they alleged, colluded with Mohd Ali Jinnah and Lord Mountbatten for entering into secret agreements, including those on Article 370. Consequently, during the last 70 years the border State suffered in the hands of terror elements, and there was a heavy toll of Kashmiri people, they stated.
