Cold wave conditions grip parts of Telangana

Cold wave conditions prevailed across the state with the Chukkapur village in Rangareddy district registering 13.5-degree celsius, the least temperature in the state.

Chukkapur is followed by Medak with 14.8-degree celsius, Adilabad 15.2 degrees celsius and Hyderabad 17.6 degrees celsius early morning on Wednesday. This is the first time in the season that the temperature slipped to the lowest in the state.

The weather official Raja Rao said that the temperature will be slipped further in the state. Meanwhile, the cold wave is forcing the people to stay indoors at many places particularly the agency areas.
