In Suryapet, along with Home Minister Mohammed Ali, Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy participated in the party minority wing meeting here on Saturday. Addressing the gathering, Jagadish said that the Congress was responsible for communal violence in the country and added that the age-old party is playing cheap techniques to get into power.

Pointing out that the Congress always treated Muslim minorities as vote bank only, he said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been treating all sections of people equally and became a role model to the country.

The State government has been honoring the religious beliefs of Muslim minorities and celebrating Ramzan by providing funds.

AICC chief Rahul Gandhi failed to play constructive role as the leader of Opposition and could not prevent PM Narendra Modi against his anti-people's policies, the Minister alleged.

Stating that KCR is the only capable leader, who can put a stop to Modi's arrogance, he informed that the whole country is awaiting for the leadership of KCR.

He urged the Minorities to support the TRS in the coming parliament elections in order to give a chance to KCR to serve the nation and to get more funds to the State from the Central government.

Addressing the gathering, Home Minister Mohammed Ali listed out all the various schemes implemented by the TRS government for the welfare of Muslim minorities and emphasised the need to support the TRS in LS elections.

Minority leaders Farid, Basheer, Muzavar, Riyaz, Aziz, Ghouse, Pasha, party leader Y Venkateswarlu and large number of Muslim Minorities attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy participated in Nalgonda constituency-level meeting of party minority wing here in Nalgonda town. Uttam explained the gathering how the Congress had worked for the welfare of minorities in the country from the times of first Prime Minister late Jawaharlal Nehru to Manmohan Singh.

Reminding that former Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi tried to support the poor with the slogan 'Garibi Hatao' during her tenure, he said that following his grandmother's footsteps AICC chief Rahul Gandhi designed Nyuntam Aay Yojna (NYAY) to provide Rs 6,000 per month to 20 crore BPL families in the country.

Alleging that attacks and restrictions against Muslim minorities were increased during the BJP government tenure for the past five years in the country, he urged the people of Muslim minorities to support Congress to end the communal ruling of Prime Minister Narendra

Modi in the coming parliament elections. Congress local leaders Dubbaka Narsimha Reddy, Gummula Mohan Reddy, Burri Srinivas Reddy, minority leaders Rafiq, Hafeez Khan, Ameen Baba, Amir, Omar, Shahid, Lateef, Sami and large number of Muslim minorities participated in the meeting.
