Congress senior leader Jeevan Reddy slammed the ruling TRS for non-fulfilment of election promises made to Jagitial.
Speaking to the media, Jeevan Reddy said that the TRS party which promised to take over the Mallapur Sugar factory 100 days after forming the government has closed it permanently. He also alleged that the party which allocated Rs 800 crore for agriculture has not even spent Rs 8 for it.
The TRS party has not even accorded minimum support price for the turmeric, he alleged. He also said that the party has not invited tenders to the seed park in Lakshmipur since its foundation.
It also promised to enhance the capacity of Rollavagu reservoir to 1 tmc from 0.25 tmc, but it has not done yet, added Reddy.
