Cops crack NRSC employee's murder case; accused arrested
The city police on Friday busted the murder case of National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) scientist S Suresh Kumar (56) who was murdered on October 1 in his flat at Annapurna Apartment in Dharamkaram Road under SR Nagar police station limits.

The police arrested one Janagama Srinivas (39) and found that unnatural relation and financial disputes between them instigated the accused to murder the deceased.
According to City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, the accused browsed on net on how to kill. Based on the complaint of Indira Suresh Kumar (52), ACP Panjagutta formed three teams after registering a case under section 302 IPC and took up the investigation.
After verifying the CCTV footage and movement of suspect, fingerprints recovered at crime scene and based on the phone data of the deceased, the police arrested Janagama Srinivas (39), a lab technician in Vijaya Diagnostic Centre in Ameerpet in the early hours on Friday.
The police collected blood samples, hair, phone of accused, which was used to browse on preparation of murder, knife and two rings of deceased from his possession.
The Commissioner said as the deceased was staying alone, and his family was away from him the accused took advantage of his loneliness and economic condition as a chance to seek money and came closer to him in the name of blood collection.
Exploiting his loneliness and urge to develop physical relation, the accused expected monetary favours in return. As he did not get expected amounts, he hatched a plan to kill him.
He purchased knife, came prepared on September 30 at 9:30 pm and spent time with deceased alone.
After an argument over money, the accused killed him by attacking with a knife and causing serious head injuries and absconded from the spot.
