The Telangana state chief secretary Somesh Kumar on Sunday said that the permit rooms in bars, clubs, tourism bars and wines will remain closed till March 21. He asked the officials to pass the orders with immediate effect.

On Sunday, the government also asked to shut down all the parks in Hyderabad including the parks in all the municipalities.

Meanwhile, the educational institutions in the state are also closed from today after the Telangana government passed orders as a precautionary measure to control coronavirus. Medical colleges were also shut down till March 31. However, no holidays are given to the nursing students, medical college faculty, Internship, PG students in the view of the medical services.

The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) also announced that no classes will be conducted until March 31. UG, PG, PGDTE, PGDTA, B.Ed, Ph.D students were asked to vacate the hostels by March 18.
