CPM's Venkat files nomination
CPM candidate B Venkat filed his nomination for the Khammam Lok Sabha seat on Friday.

He was joined by his followers, who rallied with him on the way to the returning office to submit his nomination.
Later, he attended a meeting of the party in the pavilion ground which was attended by party's national secretary Sitaram Yechury, State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram and other state and district leaders.
CPM national secretary Sitaram Yechury addressed the crowd and said that it is not beneficial for the common man to vote for the success of industrialists and contractors.
He called upon everyone to vote for B.Venkat who has been fighting for the rights of workers and will work for the development of Scheduled tribes in the district.
