Parigi: The CPI town wing alleged that the drain in the survey number 80 has been encroached by a few real estate businessmen. A delegation of CPI members paid a visit to the location on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, CPI division secretary Peer Mohammad and mandal secretary M Venkatesh said the crucial drain was being obstructed by the realtors and the officers concerned were turning a blind eye to it.

They appealed to the authorities concerned to take action against the encroachers to save the drain. Otherwise, they warned that they would launch a massive agitation. AISF district president S Chennaih, Mohana Chary and Narsimhulu were present on the occasion.
