Sai Kumar (32) who was in the drunk state visited a pan shop at Krupa complex around 5 pm where he slit his own throat with a blade. Locals who notice the incident shifted him to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
In a similar case, a 51-year-old man slit his throat with a knife in public in Kherwadi area of Mumbai. Mahendar Raut (51), who was in inebriated state slit his throat around 10.45 am. Locals alerted the police after noticing Mahendra slitting his throat.
He slit his throat before the police arrived. Mahendra was shifted to VN Desai Hospital in Kherwadi.
