74,000 students register for agriculture and pharmacy

Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University- Hyderabad (JNTU-H) is conducting TS EAMCET 2019 as a computer-based test (CBT) at 18 test zones across Telangana (15) and Andhra Pradesh (3).

The TS EAMCET-2019 Convenor N Yadaiah on Saturday said so far 1,41,716 students have been registered for the Engineering stream,74,646 for the Agriculture and Pharmacy stream and 234 registered for both the streams.

He said the TS EAMCET 2019 is scheduled for engineering stream on May 3, 4, 6 and Agriculture and Medical stream on May 8 and 9 from 10 am to 1 pm (FN Session) and 3 pm to 6 pm. (AN Session).

Candidates who have registered can download the Hall Tickets from April 20 8 pm onwards till May 1 from TS EAMCET-2019 website at https:// eamcet.tsche.ac.in, using their EAMCET 2019 registration number, qualifying examination hall ticket number and date of birth.

Yadaiah advised the candidates to download the hall tickets on or before May 1, and to visit the test centre one day before the examination to identify the address, exact location and route to the test centre given in the hall ticket.

Further, the candidates are also advised to know about CBT by practising the mock test available on TS EAMCET 2019 website.

On the day of the examination candidate shall carry into the Examination hall only hall ticket, fill in the online application form with black or blue ballpoint pen, in addition, candidates shall enrol with Biometric (fingerprint) data and photo capture during the examination failing which his/her candidature will be rejected, the convenor said.

The candidate will be permitted into the Examination hall one and a half hours before the commencement of the test and will not be allowed into the examination hall once the examination has commenced.

Similarly, they will not be allowed to leave the examination hall until the end of the examination.

Yadaiah said that candidates shall produce the hall ticket at the entrance of the test centre and also in the examination hall failing which the candidates will not be allowed to write the test.

Besides, the candidates have to hand over "Filled in Online Application Form" in the Examination Hall. Carrying of calculators, mathematical / log tables, pagers, cell phones, watches, any other electronic gadgets and loose sheets of paper into the Examination hall are strictly prohibited.

For rough work, a booklet will be provided in the examination hall. The booklet has to be returned to the invigilator. Stringent action will be taken as per the law for any sort of malpractice, impersonation in the examination, he warned.
