Godman undergoes sex change surgery, accuses lover of betrayal
In a bizarre incident, a man approached the village elders after his lover, who asked him to undergo gender change surgery, refused to marry him at Imampet village of Suryapet mandal in the district.

According to sources, one Munagala Janaiah of Imampeta village in Suryapet mandal, has been making a living as a Kolupu (local godman dressed in special attire) or oracle for the last few years.
Gundlagani Sai of Suryapet approached Janaiah to know about his future and remedies to his problems a few months ago. Soon after they developed feelings for each other.
When Sai told Janaiah that he was willing to marry him only after he changes his gender through surgery. Janaiah immediately underwent the surgery.
But Janaiah alleged that Sai refused to go ahead on his promise and approached the Imampet village elders seeking justice.
