Wanaparthy: Niranjan Reddy on Wednesday consoled the family of Kummari Lakshmi, who died after being struck by lightning. He assured the victims of his support.
Upon learning that Parushuram (42)—husband of Kummari Lakshmi, a female farm laborer from old Suguru village in Pebbair Mandal—had died after being struck by lightning in the fields during heavy rain, former Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy rushed to the government hospital to express his deepest condolences.
He consoled the son and family members, instilled courage in them, and assured them that he would stand by them during this difficult time.
He also visited Suvarna and Anuradha, who had suffered minor health issues due to the shock; he inquired about their condition with the doctors and instructed them to provide the best possible medical care.
