Hyderabad: Health Minister Eatala Rajender directed his department officials to conduct corona sample testing on the government staff in frontline Covid duties including health, municipal and police personnel in the State.
He told senior officials to take steps to implement ICMR directions to conduct tests on all symptomatic frontline staff. Eatala held a review meeting with senior officials on Tuesday in wake of lifting of lockdown restrictions that will lead to more movement of public across the State.
He sought co-operation of public and strict following of instructions like face mask and physical distancing to control corona. He spoke over phone with Gandhi Hospital superintendent Dr Raja Rao and directed him to take extra care of Covid patients with co-morbidities.
He directed all State hospitals to take steps for oxygen facilities as people would flock with respiratory issues in this corona pandemic. He also directed all hospitals and PHCs to keep adequate medical stocks.
