LB Nagar: State film industry chairman Ram Mohan Rao participated in the green challenge programme held at KB School in Turkayamjal on Sunday. Rachakonda DCP Divya Charan Rao, Green India co-founder Raghavendar, film actor Nanda Kishore, school chairman CN Reddy also participated in the event. Nearly 500 plants were planted in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Mohan Rao said, "Everyone should think of the changes in climatic conditions and take responsibility of doing plantation. Awareness should be brought in children on saving trees." School management, students and parents also participated in the programme.
