Telangana BJP chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said that his party welcomes and commends the Rs.20 lakh crore stimulus package declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to restart the economy, stalled due to Coronavirus crisis since March, 2020.
Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao said that his party welcomes and commends the Rs.20 lakh crore stimulus package declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to restart the economy, stalled due to Coronavirus crisis since March, 2020.
In a statement here on Tuesday, he said the "Bharath Atma Nirbhar Abhiyan" is the agenda for this mammoth stimulus package, which amounts to 10 per cent of India's GDP.
The BJP leader said that PM Modi's stress on the immediate national agenda of a 'self-reliant India' is a clear direction for the nation to move forward.
He further added that the party commends the decisive leadership of PM Narendra Modi providing to the nation, amidst this massive global health and economic crisis. The BJP also welcomes the possible ease of lockdown norms by the Central government after the current lockdown phase expires.
