K Uma and her daughter became rudderless after her husband, a constable by profession died after being hit by a heavy vehicle at Dindi in Nalgonda district in 2013. Six years after, she won legal battle after the insurance company which insured the heavy vehicle paid compensation to Uma.
Chief judge of the civil court Suma Latha and the chairman of district legal services authority handed over the cheque to Uma. A whopping of Rs 35 crore has been disbursed to scores of families by the court who faced the similar situation.
