Kamareddy: Rasta roko against sexual harassment by Gurukul Principal
Local leaders and villagers staged a rasta roko on national highway 161 near Madnur mandal headquarters on Tuesday, in protest against the Prnicipal of Madnur Gurukul School for Boys sexually harassing a staff nurse.
Kamareddy: Local leaders and villagers staged a rasta roko on national highway 161 near Madnur mandal headquarters on Tuesday, in protest against the Prnicipal of Madnur Gurukul School for Boys sexually harassing a staff nurse. Due to their rasta roko, traffic came to a grinding halt for about one and half hour and vehicles got stranded for four kilometres.
It should be noted here that a staff nurse working in Madnur Gurukul School for Boys registered a case with Madnur police on Monday against the School Principal Srinivas that he was harassing her both physically and mentally. Madnur SI Suresh said a case was registered against the Principal. The officials of Education department suspended the Principal and appointed Sunitha as the in-charge Principal of the school.
