Karimnagar: The rulers should lessen the burden of the people and try to solve their problems, but Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is increasing their burden by introducing new Revenue Act, stated BJP Kisan Morcha national general secretary P Sugunakar Rao.

In a statement released here on Monday, he alleged that people will face a lot of problems and various issues pertaining to their own lands with the new Revenue Act in near future. With Dharani website, the government was trying to collect huge amounts from the people, he criticised. The revenue department was transformed into a corruption centre and instead of mending it, the TRS government introduced the new revenue system to loot the innocent people, he criticised.

Sugunakar Rao observed that there was a possibility of transferring land rights to others on Dharani online portal by some people with the help of their Aadhar card and with software skills. Anyone with technical and computer knowledge can transfer or sell the land and moreover, there is no platform to solve the issues which will arise in later cases, he pointed out.

"Seeking solutions and justice, people will approach courts and have to wait for years spending a lot of money which would be an extra burden to them. For every work like mutation, gift deed, heredity property people should shell extra money. The TRS government is trying to grab money from people and fill its treasure, which is totally unfair for the people, who voted it to come to power for the second time," he criticised.

Sugunakar said that at least now the State government must rectify its mistakes and must design new Revenue Act properly, keeping in view of the welfare of people and must remove unscientific methods of registration process and must design it scientifically without giving any scope for irregularities, the Kisan Morcha leader demanded.
