After summery revision of electoral rolls, the final list of voters would be published on February 7. "The political parties have to check the list and if they have any objections, the same have to bring to the notice of officers concerned," he said, adding that the electoral roll revision was going on in a transparent and effective manner in Khammam district. He said after deletions and changes based on claims and objections on the electoral draft published in last December, the final list would be published on February 7.

Municipal Commissioner Anurag Jayanti informed the observer that a special campaign was conducted to receive claims and objections and for enrolling new voters on January 11, 12 and 25, on which National Voters' Day was celebrated.

As many as 20,989 claims related to double entries, death of voters and others were addressed. After the publication of final list, based on claims received, changes would be carried out, he added.
