KTR hits out at Uttam, asks him to sit at home
TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao hit out at TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy who said that the party has won by distributing money to the voters.
TRS working president and minister KT Rama Rao hit out at TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy who said that the party has won by distributing money to the voters. Refuting his statement, the minister said that it is an insult to the voters who voted TRS to power since the formation of the state.
"Uttam blamed EVM machines during the assembly elections for the TRS win and now what would he question over TRS win in municipal and Parishad elections. He has no confidence in any of the systems and people too lost hope on Congress party," KTR said adding that it is better for Uttam to sit at home.
Speaking at the Telangana Bhavan, the minister said that the opposition parties had tried to suppress the TRS party in the municipal elections.
"Around 8,000 people filed nominations from TRS in the elections while the Congress party which claims to be the only alternate party failed to field the candidates. Congress and BJP had no candidates in the municipal elections," KTR said.
