Abdullapurmet: A blood donation camp was organised by the Lions Club of Hayathnagar in Avanthi group of educational institutions. About 150 students, both boys and girls, donated blood. Avanthi group HR director Dr Jayaprasad was the chief guest.
Avanthi College principal Dr Ramachandra Reddy explained to the students the importance of blood donation. He observed that blood donors would become life-savers. 'Everyone should take up blood donation with a spirit of service', he observed.
NSS coordinator Srinivas, HODs, faculty members and many students participated in the camp.
