Man tries to kill his children for gold in Hyderabad, held

A man who planned the murder of his two kids to get the ownership on gold deposited in the bank was arrested on Thursday at Himayatnagar.
Fakira alias Raj Kumar, a resident of Ramaswamy compound in Gandhinagar hatched a plan to kills his children Mayur Kumar (11) and Baby Lakshya (9).
Getting into details, Vijaya Lakshmi, wife of Raj Kumar is staying away from him due to his alleged torture. She deposited her gold on the name of her two children and committed suicide. On learning it, Raj Kumar planned to kill the children to get the ownership on the gold.
Balala Hakkula Sangam Achyut Rao said that Raj Kumar thrashed his children several times in a bid to kill them. He said that the children approached the Sangam and shared their ordeal. They further urged to sent them to their aunt's home.
The Central zone DCP has ordered a probe into the matter, said Achyut Rao.
