Mancherial: Telangana Journalists Union leaders urged Joint Collector Y Surender Rao to issue pending accreditation cards to the legible working journalists, which was stopped showing some remarks, here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Journalists union leaders said that in Mancherial district many working journalists have been working for big and small papers and cable TV and their accreditation cards are pending showing petty reasons.
They also demanded to scrap GO No 239 and urged the JC to do justice to the scribes.
Union State general sectary Parvathi Rajesh, district convenor Chokkarapu Srinivas, co-convenors Kiran, Shankar, Satyam, Srinivas and others were present.
