Mahbubnagar: Ministers distribute CMRF cheques to beneficiaries

Mahbubnagar: Excise Minister Srinivas Goud in Mahbubnagar and Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy in Wanaparthy distributed Chief Minister's Relief Fund cheques to beneficiaries suffering from various ailments in their respective districts on Tuesday.

Nasreen Bhanu, wife of Raheem of Mahbubnagar district headquarters, has been suffering from serious ailment and taking treatment in Global Hospitals in Hyderabad. As Nasreen's family is poor, Srinivas Goud gave away a Letter of Consent (LOC) and directed the concerned hospital authorities to provide best treatment for which the government would pay the healthcare expenses up to Rs 1 lakh on behalf of the patient under the CMRF.

Similarly, Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy distributed Rs 2 lakh to Nagaraju of Wanaparthy town, Rs 1 lakh cheque to Yadagiri of Venkatampally village in Ghanapuram mandal and Rs 1.5 lakh to Ramaswamy of Venkatapur village in Srirangapur mandal in Wanaparthy.

Speaking on the occasion, the Agriculture Minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was giving highest priority to healthcare of poor. Apart from providing free medicalcare to public under Arogyasri, the Chief Minister was also providing financial aid to those in distress to get good treatment.
