A traffic constable turned good Samaritan and saved a person’s life by taking him to hospital in time in Nalgonda on Thursday

Nalgonda: A traffic constable turned good Samaritan and saved a person's life by taking him to hospital in time in Nalgonda on Thursday.

According to sources, traffic constable Hafeez was on duty at Clock Tower center in Nalgonda. He stopped a car coming in wrong direction and questioned the driver.

The driver said that he works for a Chennai-based travel agency and coming from Hyderabad. He further said that he was suffering with chest pain from Chityal.

Moved by his condition, constable Hafeez drove the car and took the driver to a private hospital. After conducting tests and providing preliminary treatment, the hospital doctors confirmed that the driver got heart stroke and advised to shift him to Hyderabad for better treatment.

The constable made arrangements and shifted the driver to Hyderabad and informed the matter to the victim's family members. District SP AV Ranganath, Additional SP Narmada, DSP Venkateshwar Reddy, Traffic CI Anil and SI Kondal Reddy appreciated traffic constable Hafeez for his noble gesture.
