Nalgonda: TRS celebrates Kaleshwaram inauguration
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi celebrated the inauguration of the prestigious Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Meddigadda on Friday.

As part of celebrations, the TRS workers burst crackers, distributed sweets, organised rallies and conducted Palabhishekam to potraits of KCR.
Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha along with her husband Mahender Reddy performed a special puja at Lord Laxminarsimha Swamy at Balalayam in Yadadri and took part in Sudharshana Homam organised by the temple authorities.
Suryapet District Collector Amoy Kumar performed a special puja at historic shivite temple at Pillalamarri of Suryapet mandal and informed that as many as 2.13 lakh acres of land would get the Irrigation facility under Kaleshwaram project. Meanwhile, Nalgonda District Collector Gaurav Uppal along with local MLA and Rythu Samnavaya Samithi State president Gutha Sukender Reddy took part in a puja performed at famous Sri Sitaramachandra temple in Nalgonda and stated that good days have come for the people of Telangana with the inauguration of Kaleshwaram project.
Yadadri–Bhongir Collector Anita Ramachandran noted that barren lands in the district would get irrigation water for two crops under Kaleshwaram project.
