He emphasised the need of taking up 'clean & green' programme across the district. He directed the officials to adopt 31 wards in the district headquarters.
The collector told the officials to treat the public who visit the offices with dignity. Don't make them to do rounds, he said. He appealed to the people to approach him if any employee demands bribe. He warned of stringent action against erring employees. Trainee collector Jitesh V Patil, DRO Radhika Ramani and others were present on the occasion.
