One dies as two lorries collide in Mahabubabad

One person died and three others sustained grievous injuries in a road mishap near Thorrur town in Mahabubabad district in the small hours of Friday.
Mahabubabad: One person died and three others sustained grievous injuries in a road mishap near Thorrur town in Mahabubabad district in the small hours of Friday.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as 24-year-old G Suresh. Incidentally, he was the driver of one of the two lorries that collided head-on.
Suresh was driving a lorry carrying a boulder (granite) heading to Khammam. The other lorry was laden with cement, it's learnt. The cleaners of the both the lorries and the driver of another lorry, who sustained injuries in the mishap, were rushed to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. The police registered a case and investigation is on.
