Prof. Saneem Fatima, Joint Dean, Academics and Head, Department of Management and Commerce, today in her addressed talked about MOOCs (Massive open online course) online courses.

Rizwan Ahmad, Director, Instructional Media Centre (IMC) spoke in detail about the educational content available online. Today education is not limited to the classroom, it can be accessed from anywhere through laptops and mobiles, he said. He further advised students to use platforms such as Swayam, Swayam Prabha and to make social media platform as educational media by transferring educational content on it. New students also visited IMC today along with Dr Rafi Mohmad, Assistant Professor, Department of Education and Training Education. Dr. Mohd. Akbar, Assistant Professor, CPDUMT was the host.

Earlier, Prof. Siddiqui Md. Mahmood, Department of Education and Coordinator, Induction Programme, on the second day, delivered a lecture on "Human Values & Ethics". Prof. S. K. Naqvi, Director, Centre for Information Technology in his presentation informed students of various online requirements such as payment of fees, selection of various subjects, etc and how to use online facilities during their study periods. Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Dean, Student's Welfare welcomed the gathering. Dr. Abdul Sami Siddiqi, Assistant Professor, Department of English hosted the second-day session. A film was also screened by IMC in this session.
