Vemulawada: MLA Ch Ramesh Babu said that open gyms are being set up to provide better health in a pleasant environment to all classes of people. He on Tuesday inaugurated an open gym on the second bypass road in Vemulawada town, which was set up with an investment of Rs 13 lakhs and made it available to the public.
Later speaking at a meeting on the occasion, the MLA said that people are neglecting their health and suffering from various diseases in their busy life style. He felt open gyms can contribute to better health of the people in a fun environment.
Joint Collector Yasmeen Basha, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Nyalakonda Aruna and others participated in the programme.
