SFC employees stage protest
Employees of Telangana State Finance Corporation staged protest in front of main office of SFC on Thursday.
Hyderabad: Employees of Telangana State Finance Corporation staged protest in front of main office of SFC on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders of the employee association said that the division of the corporation could not be done as it is in Schedule 9 and alleged that the corporation was being controlled by Andhra officers.
They condemned the recent removal of cheque powers to Telangana managers. They demanded that administrative and financial powers be given to the officials belonging to Telangana state.
The employees expressed their fear that the performance of the corporation could be seriously affected with the removal of cheque power to Telangana managers, as Telangana state finance corporation has been providing loans to industrialists encouraged by the business-friendly industrial policy of the state.
They appealed the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to intervene in the matter to address their issues.
